SOPHOMORE YEAR
JUNIOR YEAR
SENIOR YEAR

Before beginning my first year on staff as a page editor, I attended the MIPA summer workshop as a way to gain a grasp with designing. It certainly helped. I won the Spartan in my InDesign class, giving me confidence and skill to start off the school. Most of the pages I was assigned were front pages. Every week it was my responsiblity to figure out how to change up the basic design. I was a big planner. I would sketch pages immediately and begin working right when I knew how I was going to carry out the page. Below includes 8 chronologically ordered pages I designed during the 2015-2016 years.

After a strong year of page editing, I was selected to be a supervising editor. A lot of my job was helping page editors with inspiration and executing their pages. We only had seven page editors, so a leadership member would have to design a page every week. I used this opportunity to design interesting feature pages and set examples for the page editors. I did some crazy designs, but I think I accomplished my goal as setting an example for others. Below are eight feature pages I did during my junior year.

Flash forward to this year. I don't have as much time nowadays to design pages, but I like to every once in a while to set an example. Also, sometimes page editors can't come to deadline because of an emergency and then I decide to take over the page. I wish I could design more pages but I have to dedicate my time towards being a leader. Here are some of the pages I have designed this year.
